The FHA and FHA Action Boards are thrilled to announce the addition of patriot Pastor Phil Shively to the FHA leadership team. The Boards offered and Mr. Shively accepted the role of Director of Community Relations.
Phil is a ten year veteran of mission work in Papua New Guinea, a church planting Pastor, a reserve police officer, a Bible instructor, and a member of the South Dakota Watchmen Council (to list only a few of the bullet points on his resume). Obviously, traversing the state to meet with pastors and constituents will be child’s play compared to traversing jungles and dangerous waterways in New Guinea!
Phil’s wife Charlotte has been his ministry and life partner for 26 years. Phil would say “Charlotte IS my organization skills.” Phil and Charlotte have three sons, two Daughters-in-law, one granddaughter, and one more grandkid on the way.
Along with his impressive resume, Phil brings organizational and fund raising skills and a passion for promoting and protecting faith, family, and freedom. To say the very least, Shively is a perfect fit for the mission of the FHA. Our vision is to see South Dakota be and remain a state where God is honored, Religious Freedom flourishes, Families thrive and Life is cherished! Pastor Phil has been exemplifying this vision openly, and we are grateful for his acceptance of this new role and for God’s timing in bringing him our way.
