Sioux Falls’ Stand To Reason Seminar Held

As a Christian there are many topics that can be very difficult to discuss with those around us. How do we open lines of communication with friends or family members that are engaged in the LGBT lifestyle? How do I talk to my Muslim neighbor about Jesus? Those questions and more were discussed during the Stand To Reason Seminar held on Saturday, April 8, at the beautiful and welcoming Sioux Falls First Assembly of God Church.

Nearly 125 friends met from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on a beautiful Sioux Falls Saturday to hear keynote speaker Alan Shlemon of Stand To Reason. LaVonne Fosness, our FHA Sioux Falls Representative, and her team of FHA Volunteers did a terrific job preparing the registration, ushers, luncheon and coffee breaks for this event. The topics included: Ambassadors For Christ – The Essential Skills, Homosexuality, Truth & Compassion, Same-Sex Marriage & the Future Of Family and A Closer Look At Islam. Family Heritage Alliance, along with her co-sponsors – SD Apologetics, John Witherspoon College, Sioux Falls First Assembly and Sioux Falls Calvary Chapel were honored to host this one day seminar on how to engage friends and family in a compassionate, Christ following way on these timely topics.

To date we have now held this Seminar in two South Dakota cities – Rapid City and Sioux Falls. If you would like to see us bring this quality program to your community then please contact the FHA today by calling us at: 605-718-5433.
