Here’s a riddle for ya:
What do you get when you cross a group of energetic seniors, a well-versed pastor, and special guest entertainment?
The newly formed “Never Too Old Club!” This last Thursday Pastor Richard Wells and the staff at Christ Church hosted the second meeting of the Never Too Old Club, and asked Norman Woods to be one of their guest speakers. The meeting started out with a devotional from Pastor Wells, (along with a few jokes by him and his staff) then lunch was served and the networking began. After lunch everyone gathered in the sanctuary to hear from the Black Hills Blend Quartet (pictured above) and Norman Woods. The quartet sang several songs, Norman gave a recap of what happened during Legislative session, then everyone joined the quartet for a closing song.
The Never Too Old Club is hosted by members of Christ Church, but is open to everyone! Their next meeting is May 11 at 11:30am and their special guests will be The Davis Sisters providing music, and Dr. Charles Lowery providing insights and humor as their guest speaker. Interested?
Show up on May 11 or call Christ Church for more info. 605-791-5591
