An FHA Tale of Two Cities

unleashingThe Family Heritage Alliance welcomed to South Dakota this week Paul Weber, President/CEO, and Stuart Shepard, the Executive Producer of Creative Communication, for the Family Policy Alliance of Colorado Spring, CO.  During their time here, South Dakota certainly lived up to the theme “A Land of Infinite Variety” as we experienced short-sleeved sunshine weather, rain and a massive snow storm all within a three day period.

FHA Executive Director Dale Bartscher had the privilege of escorting Paul and Stuart, on a sunny South Dakota afternoon, to Mount Rushmore.  While there we did a video/photo shoot just prior to their presenting on the theme “Unleashing Biblical Citizenship – Our Nation’s Hope” in two SD cities – Rapid City and Sioux Falls.

The Open Bible Christian Center served as the host church for our Rapid City Luncheon where 130 patriots gathered on Thursday, Nov. 17.  The music group “Heart of David” treated us to their inspirational music while an excellent meal was catered by the Pizza Ranch.  OBCC’s Lead Pastor Chuck Loftus opened this meeting in prayer.

The Abiding Savior Free Lutheran Church opened its heart and doors to the work of the FHA once again as we hosted some 60 patriots for lunch, catered by the Pizza Ranch, on Friday, Nov. 18.  Even though the weather outside was frightful the spirit inside was delightful 🙂  Abiding Savior’s Lead Pastor Kirk Flaa opened us in prayer and then Paul Weber and Stuart Shepard presented on our theme.  Following the program Paul and Stuart very graciously accepted the FHA’s gifting of two Founder’s Bibles.
