CitizenLink is Becoming Family Policy Alliance

It’s a new name, but the same heart.

CitizenLink is changing its name to Family Policy Alliance! The public policy partner of Focus on the Family and Family Heritage Alliance has launched a new website and will officially become Family Policy Alliance in July.

For the last twelve years, CitizenLink has worked with a network of family policy councils including Family Heritage Alliance. Our shared vision is to restore our nation to one where God is honored, religious freedom flourishes, families thrive and life is cherished. But in order to achieve that vision, they realized they needed to change their name to Family Policy Alliance.

The new name will do several things, including:

  • better describing the organization and the work they and our alliance do
  • strengthening and expanding the network of state-based allies that Family Heritage Alliance is a part of
  • empowering Christian men and women to “unleash their citizenship” in a variety of ways

“You might be wondering what it means to “unleash citizenship,” said Paul Weber, president and CEO of Family Policy Alliance. “So many Americans opt to sit out of engaging with our system of government, figuring someone else will do it or their involvement doesn’t really make a difference. Family Policy Alliance will help pro-family Americans understand the privileges, rights and responsibilities of a biblical citizen and how to live out their faith in the public square.”

Family Policy Alliance remains committed to the founding principles they’ve held since the day Dr. James Dobson and Focus on the Family launched them in 2004. In fact, they remain a public policy partner of Focus on the Family.

“Ultimately,” said Weber, “the strength of our alliance is in our shared values and our work together to protect them.”

Working with the Family Policy Alliance strengthens Family Heritage Alliance’s ability to protect you, your family and your values.
